Flute type and Board Grade Customisation

We are able to customise a combination of flute type and board grade to suit your individual application. The flute is the height of the corrugation sandwiched between two liners. The common flute used in slotted containers is "C". It is approximately 4mm thick and has excellent stacking strength. Another common flute type is "B". It is mainly used in diecut applications and has good burst strength properties. It is approximately 3mm thick. When we combine both "C" and "B" Flute together we form a product call twin cushion, otherwise known as double wall. This is generally about 9mm in thickness. Other flute types are A, E, F Flutes. These are not used as readily and have highly specialised applications. All material manufactured can be produced in both a white or brown material.

	Slightly Heavy with a Kraft liner on the outside layer
	Good for self supporting products (i.e. Bottles)

3 Board

	Most common board grade used
	Medium Strength Board
	Brown colored board both sides
	Kraft liners on both sides with a recycled medium (corrugated section)
	Good for light weight items that are not self-supporting. (2.5Kg to 7.5kg)
	Also available with white on the outside liner.

3 Super Board

	Medium Strength Board
	Brown colored board both sides
	Same as 3 board except the material has a slightly heavier medium.
	Ideal for items that do support their own weight (5kg to 10kg)
	Can be used for products that need to be frozen.
	Also available with white on the outside liner.

1 Board

	Heavy Strength Board
	Brown colored board both sides
	Strong versatile material
	Excellent stacking strength
	Good printable surface.
	Application vary from refrigerated goods to items that don't support their own weight (7.5kg to 15kg)
	Also available with white on the outside liner.

1 Super Board

	Heavy Super Strength Board
	Heavy weight items
	Excellent stack ability
	Brown coloured board both sides
	Commonly used for produce and meat cartons, that will travel long distances and need to be refrigerated. (15kg-25kg)

Duo Arch

	Special Heavy Strength Board
	Highly specialized product
	Brown on both sides
	Two mediums bonded together to form a heavy weight medium.
	Single wall construction to minimize space
	Commonly used for produce and small goods cartons
	Excellent for machine erect trays
	Also available with white on the outside liner.

	Double Strength Board
	Double wall construction
	Brown on both sides
	Heavy duty applications
	Used for items that may need to be doubling stacked or travel long distances.
	Excellent stacking strength

	Heavier than the common 3 Twin Cushion
	Brown on both sides
	Heavier construction of both liner and medium
	Used for a variety of applications from items that weight over 25Kg
