To save you time we have provided answers below to some of the most frequently asked questions by our prospective customers.

1. How long does it take to manufacture a new carton?
A new carton can be manufactured with 7-10 working days depending on your artwork requirements. Plain cartons usually take about 5-6 working days. In urgent situations a reduced lead-time can usually be met. Please speak to our sales or customer service representatives to achieve this.
2. Can I see a Representative from Abbe Corrugated?
Of Course, we have a team of experienced representatives who are able to come to you and advise the best type of product to match your particular packaging requirements.
3. Can I choose my own Colour scheme for my carton design?
We have comprehensive range of standard colours to choose from or you are able to specify a PMS colour if your volumes are large enough. This may incur a small surcharge.
4. Can I get a Sample Carton before I place my carton order?
A sample carton can be made before you place your order, for you to check that the size and grade suit your requirements. Ask our sales team or customer service to arrange this.
5. How long does it take to get a Quotation on my packaging requirements?
Once we have all your packaging requirements, we are able to get most quotations out within 24-48 hours, depending on the complexity of your needs. In a more urgent situation please contact our sales team.
6. Is Abbe Corrugated affiliated with Amcor or Visyboard?
Absolutely Not, Abbe is an independent company, wholly owned by an Australian family who have combined experience of 45 years in the corrugated packaging industry. We have no connection nor are we reliant on any other major supplier of corrugated packaging in Australia.
7. Which areas in Australia does Abbe Corrugated supply its services and packaging?
Abbe supplies its corrugated cardboard packaging and services to clients across Australia.
Abbe Corrugated is experienced in supplying a range of different customers with individual and special requirements from high volume to smaller lower volume customers. We work with companies that we know we can support.
As an independent manufacturer and converter of corrugated cardboard, cardboard boxes and packaging we supply to both metropolitan and regional areas including;
 Melbourne, and all over country Victoria
Hobart, Launceston, in Tasmania
Sydney & Hay, in New South Wales
Brisbane, and regional Queensland

8. Do you provide Free Quotes for corrugated cardboard packaging and design services?
Yes we do. Our Free Quotes are No obligation. No job is too big or small.
9. Do you have standard sizes?
We have some standard sizes see "stock listing" for more information, otherwise we can make to order ensuring your packaging is just right for your product.
10. If I buy more do I pay less?
As we make to order the longer the run size the better economy, so we can pass the saving on to you.
11. Do you make the board?
Yes we have our own corrugator on site. We manufacture, print and convert the cartons all at one site.
12. Do you have minimum quantities?
Not exactly, we can make 100 - 250 cartons if that is all you require. Remembering that price is based on quantity.
13. How many cartons are on a pallet?
This is dependent on the size of your cartons. But we will make sure it is the most possible to minimise your freight costs. We are also able to limit the height to suit special requirements. Eg. Pallet racking systems, Interstate freight etc.
14. How many colours can I have on my cartons?
The general answer is three, however should you require more than this please contact one of our friendly customer service team to discuss your requirements.
15. What is a stereo?
A stereo is the tooling required to print your carton. Also known as a printing plate.
16. What is a forme?
A forme is the tooling required in the diecut process. This tooling makes the hand holes or the special locking tabs your carton requires. These come in rotary and flatbed format.
17. Does tooling cost me anything?
Tooling is made specifically for your product and there are costs involved. However, this can be estimated at the time of quotation. If there is a charge you will be informed of this prior to manufacture.
18. Is there a charge for Artwork?
Artwork costs are incorporated into the price of the stereo. However it is beneficial and will reduce costs if you can supply your artwork in our preferred format. See design services.
19. Can you arrange delivery or am I able to use my our preferred carrier ?
No problem, please advise us at the time of quoting you and we will arrange an ex-factory price if you prefer, otherwise we will quote you with delivery included.
