Following the sale of Cardboard Containers Mfg. Co, current Abbe Corrugated Managing Director and owner John O'Sullivan together with his brother maintained the family connection with the corrugated cardboard industry when they started Abbe Design Pty. Ltd. in 1988's as a box converting business.

In 1990 a corrugator was installed and the business changed its name to Abbe Corrugated Pty Ltd. John O'Sullivan acquired 100% ownership of the company in 1997. The business continues the great family tradition with John's three sons working in key positions alongside a loyal and committed workforce.

In 1991 a corrugator was installed and the business changed its name to Abbe Corrugated Pty Ltd. The company could now compete effectively in the market and manufacture its own corrugated board.  John O'Sullivan acquired 100% ownership of the company in 1997. And with managed growth over a twelve year period Abbe outgrew this site, and the search for a new home commenced in earnest.

2004 was the dawn of new era for Abbe. Relocation to an extensive manufacturing and warehousing facility was completed allowing for expansion in the future.  The plant four times larger than our previous facility covers an area of 210,000 sq ft.  The business continues the great family tradition with Johns three sons working in key positions alongside a loyal and committed workforce.
